im chopping a gixxer having trouble getting a 4 into 1 pipe to have ground clearance any ideas?
keep in mind we are talking about a low ridgid frame.I dont want drag pipes.I want to get a 4 into 1 to fit and be able to make a right turn. starting to look like I gotta bend my own and dont know what length each one should be for optimum performance. We allready tried drag pipes with anti reversion cones, not good enough. maybe all 4 headers at a right angle and then straight back but what is the optimum length for each header? Somebody like mags might know. I want to race against big inch V twins with this beast.
Have you looked at a rule book yet,if your to low your not allowed to race. The rule use to be 2 inches and it had to be straight up and when the bike was leaned over. There are some high pipes out there also. And if your going to race on a track some of those Big inch Vtwins are very fast. Even in pro stock they had to give a weight break and let the busa's' take some off to catch the VTwins and they still can not.
