What size Phillips screwdriver do I need? I have a screw that is ~.75 cm in diameter (the "+" is ~.5 cm).?
Basically, I want a quantitative table like
screwdriver screwhead size
Phillips #1 ____
Phillips #2 ____
...
In imperial units, the screw is ~5/16" (the "+" is ~3/16")
I've looked around the web, and I've only received qualitative answers (e.g. Phillips #1 = small). The reason I ask is that I can't seem to get this screw to budge, and I figure I should be at least trying with the correct tool before I give in and take it to the shop.
Thanks!
i thought that a pozi head looks like a cross:

Mine does not look like a cross.
To be honest it is more than likely you will need a Pz2 screwdriver, although the best option is to grab yourself a set.
